About Me

I am a wife, mother, grandmother, and passionate Health Coach. In 2019, I found myself in my very own health and wellness crisis. For years I let my physical, mental, and emotional health take a backseat while caring for all those around me, in both my career and family life. I now know that I was ignoring those quiet whispers from within that were warning me of the impending consequences I would have to face if I didn’t make some changes. These discoveries are now my teachings and specializations, and I am excited to be able to share them with you.

My world as I knew it started to have some rumblings within. I was forced to make a career change, but more urgently, I was facing a major health concern. I knew I had to make some lifestyle changes to heal myself physically, mentally, and emotionally. I had a deep sense of knowing that the changes I needed to make had to come from within and that simply masking the symptoms with something externally wasn’t going to work.

And Finally…….

I allowed myself to take a deep breath and put myself first. It was time to focus on my health and wellness once and for all. I wasn’t certain where this wellness journey would take me, but now realize that this big shift brought me to my second act, where it proves to be the brightest and most rewarding. I have discovered greater emotional, mental, and spiritual wellness and, more importantly, a reversal of my health conditions. It has been exciting to watch those around me witness and then implement some of these changes themselves, which has caused a ripple of wellness all around me. While my journey continues to unfold I have developed a strong passion to share what I have experienced and to learn even more. This desire led me to the Institute for Integrative Nutrition where I graduated as an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach. With this new career and passion, I hope to inspire others to discover their individual path on a journey to encompassing their own wellness. Join me in Encompassing Your Wellness.

My Approach

The body is a wonderful vessel, and it has within it the ability to heal. I have a profound knowing and the confidence that YOU can achieve anything YOU choose to focus on. Through my own journey to wellness, I have witnessed the body’s ability to heal and reach the level of health and overall wellness that aligns with the innate wisdom within each one of us. There are truly many paths to an intended destination. Each of us is unique, and what works for some may not work for others. I will help you find your personal solution to living a life full of joy, peace, and happiness. In life you sometimes need to change course and take a different path, but I will be there by your side every step of the way. I will lead when you need or ask me to and follow and cheer you on as you find your way. I trust your decisions and timing and I would truly feel honored if you allowed me to partner with you on your journey to overall wellness.

Non-Scale Victories

If you are thinking about it or are already on your journey to wellness using intermittent fasting, take a moment to learn about NSV’s. The main tool used to measure your success with weight loss is typically the scale. Most of time it is all well and good until that one day you expect the scale to say one thing and it says another. Some of us, myself included used to rely a bit too heavily (no pun intended) on the scale to judge my success. A non-scale victory is something you notice that has changed or improved that is not based on the number on the scale, but it also shows the progress and success you are making during your journey to improved health.

Physical Activity

Benefits of Physical Activity

No matter who you are or where you are in your journey, moving your body will benefit you in multiple ways. Physical activity can boost energy, improve your sleep quality, and support your overall health and body weight.

When you move more you feel better.

Eat The Rainbow

Try adding colorful fruits and vegetable to your plate each meal. By adding these in first, as you fill your plate, you can crowd out the less nutritional foods and improve you overall diet. When I use the word “diet” it is in the context of what foods you eat during the day not a specific food plan like most people use it.
As you scroll through social media you frequently see the appetizing plates full of color. Colorful plates of food make people more interested, excited and possibly even hungry. The best part of eating all these colorful food is that they are good for your overall health too. When produce is colorful it indicates the nutrient density of the food.
